Well...upon researching I've not turned up a place to get the jdm door sills nor have a found a substitute that is...not ugly. So I've taken the matter into my own hands. I do some computer work for a machinist and after talking to him getting some pretty kick ass custom ones milled, yes milled, out of alluminum is totally doable. So here's my proposal... If one of you guys that runs a store would like to aid it would be great, but i'd like to try and do a group buy on these as making like 50 or so pairs would considerably cut the cost. I have not had a set made as of yet, but for somewhere around $2-300 a set he can take a solid block of T6 alluminum, which is about the highest grade you're gonna find and completely mill it out into a new door sill 300zx logo and all. It would have some mill swirls, but those can be buffed out into basically a mirror w/o very much effort. I'd like to see what the response is on something like this so please post if you have any intention of participating! Thanks for reading all this crap =P
